TPWS is 30! Check out Birthday Bash in right column for information.

TPWS is a group of weavers, spinners, and fiber lovers that meet in Spring, Texas on the north side of Houston.

History
Tall Pines Weavers and Spinners was formed in 1983 as North Harris County Weaver’s Guild and in March of 1985 the guild chose a new name. This name refers to the tall pine trees that prosper on the north side of Houston, where we meet.

Mission
The mission of the guild is to promote the crafts of spinning, handweaving, and related fiber arts.

Meetings
At meetings, we share what we’ve been doing, and learn about new and old techniques and skills.  Each meeting begins with a social time, followed by club business and a program.

We meet the first Tuesday of the month at 7 pm at

Paradise Springs

5600 Cypresswood Drive (between Kuykendahl and Stuebner-Airline)

Spring, TX 77379
